VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System invites Veterans, their families, and caregivers to the Whole Health and Caregiver Summit at Tropical Texas Behavioral Health, 2215 West Business 83, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
Attendees will gain insights into VA’s whole health and wellness delivery system and the caregiver program, both of which support health and well-being. The summit will cover chiropractic care, acupuncture, meditation, guided imagery, yoga, Tai Chi, better sleep, pain management and more.
Information tables staffed by VA mental health and wellness representatives, Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs), and community partners will provide resources on health benefits available to Veterans.
Additionally, the event will focus on supporting family caregivers with education, resources, and tools to improve their quality of life and enable them to better care for themselves and their Veterans.
