Tomah VA Medical Center Brings Joy to Over 650 Guests with Trunk-or-Treat Celebration
On October 30, 2025, the Tomah VA Medical Center transformed its campus into a vibrant celebration of community, creativity, and connection during their annual festive Trunk-or-Treat event that welcomed more than 650 attendees.
The event was a shining example of collaboration, joy, and the spirit of service that defines the Tomah VA. Spearheaded by Emily Reinart of the Employee Engagement and Wellness Committee, the event brought together 16 uniquely themed trunks, each decorated by various departments and community partners. From spooky scenes to whimsical wonderlands, each trunk offered something different to include treats, ice cream, stickers and interactive fun for Veterans, families, and community members of all ages.
Departments across the Medical Center embraced the opportunity to showcase their creativity and camaraderie, while community partners joined in with decorated trucks that added even more excitement and variety to the event. The result was a colorful, laughter-filled evening that left smiles on every face.
“This event was about more than just candy and costumes,” said Reinart. “It was about bringing people together, showing appreciation for our Veterans and their families, and creating a space where joy and community could thrive.”
The Tomah VA Medical Center extends heartfelt thanks to all the departments and community partners who participated and helped bring this event to life. Your dedication and enthusiasm made a lasting impact and reminded everyone of the power of unity and celebration.
