The Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) provides oversight of VA's OSH and Workers' Compensation programs in support of VA's Designated Agency Safety and Health Official (DASHO). The Office of OSH coordinates Safety and Workers' Compensation Steering Committees to promote effective program managment throughout the Department.
The Office of OSH partners with the Administrations and Offices within the Department of Veterans Affairs, other Federal agencies, and organizations to promote safe and healthful workplaces and effective management of the workers' compensation program.
The Office of OSH administers several events in support of the missions of the safety and workers' compensation programs. These include training, outreach, policy and guidance, and data management.
