INTRODUCTION

The Veteran served on active duty with the United States Navy from May 1958 to April 1961.

These matters come before the Board of Veterans' Appeals (Board) on appeal from a February 2009 rating decision by the Reno, Nevada, Regional Office (RO) of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which denied entitlement to the benefits sought.


FINDINGS OF FACT

1.  In an April 2013, the Veteran withdrew his appeal seeking service connection for a low back disability.

2.  In an April 2013, the Veteran withdrew his appeal seeking service connection for skin cancer.


CONCLUSIONS OF LAW

1.  The criteria to withdraw the appeal seeking service connection for a low back disability have been met. 38 U.S.C.A. §§ 7105(b)(2), (d)(5) (West 2002); 38 C.F.R. § 20.204 (2012).

2.  The criteria to withdraw the appeal seeking service connection for a skin cancer have been met. 38 U.S.C.A. §§ 7105(b)(2), (d)(5) (West 2002); 38 C.F.R. § 20.204 (2012).





REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS

An appeal may be withdrawn by the Veteran or his representative as to any or all issues on appeal before the Board.  38 U.S.C.A. § 7105; 38 C.F.R. § 20.204 . 

In an April 2013 correspondence, the Veteran, through his representative, stated that he wished to withdraw his claims for service connection for a low back disability and service connection for skin cancer.  

Accordingly, the Board does not have jurisdiction to review the appeals and they are dismissed.


ORDER

The appeal seeking service connection for a low back disability is dismissed.

The appeal seeking service connection for skin cancer is dismissed.
