Ware, Associate Counsel INTRODUCTION The Veteran served on active duty in the U.S. Army from January 1968 to January 1970. This matter comes before the Board of Veterans' Appeals (Board) on appeal from an April 2012 rating decision issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Office (RO) in Detroit, Michigan. In January 2017, the Veteran testified at a Travel Board hearing before the undersigned Veterans Law Judge. A copy of the hearing transcript has been associated with the record. FINDING OF FACT In January 2017, the Veteran testified that he wanted to withdraw this appeal. CONCLUSION OF LAW The criteria for withdrawal of an appeal have been met. 38 U.S.C.A. § 7105(b)(2), (d)(5) (West 2014); 38 C.F.R. § 20.204 (2017). REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDING AND CONCLUSION The Board may dismiss any appeal that fails to allege specific error of fact or law in the determination being appealed. 38 U.S.C.A. § 7105. An appeal may be withdrawn as to any or all issues involved in the appeal at any time before the Board promulgates a decision. 38 C.F.R. § 20.204. The Veteran or the Veteran's authorized representative may withdraw an appeal. Id. During the January 2017 Travel Board hearing, the Veteran withdrew this appeal and, hence, there remain no allegations of errors of fact or law for appellate consideration.
