REMANDED
Entitlement to service connection for the cause of the Veteran’s death is remanded.
REASONS FOR REMAND
The Veteran served on active duty from April 1951 to April 1955; he died in April 2010.  The appellant is the Veteran’s widow. 
Entitlement to service connection for the cause of the Veteran’s death is remanded.
In September 2018, the appellant submitted additional evidence and indicated that she does not waive consideration by the regional office (RO).  She requested that her case be remanded to the RO for consideration of this new evidence in the first instance.
Accordingly, the matter is REMANDED for the following action:
1. Readjudicate the issue of on appeal in light of all additional evidence added to the record.
2. If upon completion of the above action the issue is denied, the case should be returned to the Board after compliance with appellate procedures.
