Entitlement to a compensable disability rating for right foot surgical scars is remanded. Entitlement to a compensable disability rating for left foot surgical scars is remanded. REASONS FOR REMAND The Veteran served on active duty from April 1977 to April 1999. These matters are on appeal from a June 2014 rating decision Additional evidence has been developed by VA since the January 2017 supplemental statement of the case (SSOC). Specifically, the Veteran was provided with a VA examination in September 2018, however, the Agency of Original Jurisdiction (AOJ) did not issue an SSOC following this VA examination. As such, a remand is required. The matters are REMANDED for the following action: Readjudicate the issues on appeal, to include review of the September 2018 VA examination. If the benefits sought on appeal remain denied, the Veteran should be furnished with an SSOC, given the opportunity to respond, and the case should be thereafter returned to the Board for further appellate review, if warranted.
