Citation Nr: 18146984 Decision Date: 11/02/18 Archive Date: 11/02/18 DOCKET NO. 15-24 543 DATE: November 2, 2018 REMANDED Entitlement to a compensable disability rating for bilateral hearing loss is remanded. REASONS FOR REMAND The Veteran served on active duty from October 1967 to July 1972. During his October 2018 Board hearing, as well as in written correspondence to VA, the Veteran asserted that his bilateral hearing loss disability has increased in severity since he was last examined by VA. The Veteran should be provided a VA examination for his bilateral hearing loss disability. Additionally, evidence indicates that there may be outstanding relevant VA treatment records. Any VA treatment records are within VA’s constructive possession, and are considered potentially relevant to the issue on appeal. The matter is REMANDED for the following action: 1. Obtain the Veteran’s VA treatment records for the period from July 2014 to the Present. (Continued on the next page)   2. Schedule the Veteran for an examination of his bilateral hearing loss.
