Citation Nr: 18147867 Decision Date: 11/06/18 Archive Date: 11/06/18 DOCKET NO. 16-41 217 DATE: November 6, 2018 REMANDED Entitlement to a rating in excess of 10 percent prior to February 17, 2015 and 30 percent from February 17, 2015 for left knee meniscectomy with degenerative changes is remanded. Entitlement to a rating in excess 20 percent for left knee instability is remanded. REASONS FOR REMAND The Veteran served on active duty from October 1999 to April 2000 and from October 2003 to April 2005. This matter comes to the Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board) on appeal from a September 2014 rating decision issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Office (RO) in North Little Rock, Arizona. Entitlement to increased ratings for left knee disabilities is remanded. The Veteran underwent a VA examination in connection with his pending claims for increased rating for his right knee disabilities in May 2018. In connection with this examination, his left knee was examined. The RO has not readjudicated the left knee issues on appeal based upon this additional evidence. This should be rectified on remand. The matters are REMANDED for the following action: Provide the Veteran an SSOC with respect to the issues of entitlement to a rating in excess of 10 percent prior to February 17, 2015 and 30 percent from February 17, 2015 for left knee meniscectomy with degenerative changes and entitlement to a rating in excess 20 percent for left knee instability, that considers all evidence associated with the record since the July 2016 statement of the case was issued.
