Citation Nr: 18151288 Decision Date: 11/16/18 Archive Date: 11/16/18 DOCKET NO. 16-08 199 DATE: November 16, 2018 REMANDED Entitlement to a rating in excess of 10 percent for service-connected sacroiliitis prior to June 9, 2014 and in excess of 20 percent from June 9, 2014, is remanded. REASONS FOR REMAND The Veteran served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force from June 2001 to July 2004. Following the most recent adjudication of the Veteran’s claim on appeal, i.e. the February 2016 Statement of the Case (SOC), the Agency of Original Jurisdiction (AOJ) associated with the claims file additional VA treatment records. Thereafter, the Veteran requested that the case be remanded for AOJ review of the additional evidence. See September 2018 Additional Evidence Response Form. Accordingly, the Board finds that remand is required for the AOJ’s initial review of the additional evidence. 38 C.F.R. § 20.1304(c). The matter is REMANDED for the following action: With specific consideration of the new evidence associated with the claims file subsequent to the February 2016 SOC, readjudicate the Veteran’s claim of entitlement to a rating in excess of 10 percent for service-connected sacroiliitis prior to June 9, 2014 and in excess of 20 percent from June 9, 2014. If the benefit sought remains denied, issue a supplemental statement of the case (SSOC) and return the case to the Board. A.
