REASONS FOR REMAND The Veteran served on active duty in the United States Army from November 1984 to December 1987 with additional inactive service in the Army National Guard. Entitlement to service connection for a low back disability is remanded. A May 2011 VA treatment record indicates that there may be outstanding and relevant Social Security records. Specifically, the VA treatment record states that the Veteran is “on disability for his back pain.” A remand is required to allow VA to request the relevant federal records.
