Citation Nr: 18157676 Decision Date: 12/13/18 Archive Date: 12/13/18 DOCKET NO. 15-46 222 DATE: December 13, 2018 ORDER The appeal for service connection for the cause of the Veteran's death is dismissed. FINDING OF FACT On November 26, 2018, prior to the promulgation of a decision in the appeal, the Board received notification from the appellant, that a withdrawal of her appeal for service connection for the cause of the Veteran’s death, is requested. CONCLUSION OF LAW The criteria for withdrawal of an appeal by the appellant have been met as to the claim for service connection for the Veteran’s death. 38 U.S.C. §7105(b)(2), (d)(5); 38 C.F.R. § 20.204.   REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDING AND CONCLUSION Withdrawal The Board may dismiss any appeal which fails to allege specific error of fact or law in the determination being appealed. 38 U.S.C. § 7105. An appeal may be withdrawn in writing as to any or all issues involved in the appeal at any time before the Board promulgates a decision. 38 C.F.R. § 20.204. Withdrawal may be made by the appellant or by his or her authorized representative. 38 C.F.R. § 20.204. In a November 2018 statement in support of a claim, the appellant stated that she desired to withdraw her appeal as the Veteran’s death was not service related. Additionally, she stated that she had income over the pension limit. The Board finds these statements are explicit and unambiguous as they clearly state what is to be done, and shows an understanding of the consequences. DeLisio v. Shinseki, 25 Vet.
