Citation Nr: 18159643 Decision Date: 12/19/18 Archive Date: 12/19/18 DOCKET NO. 14-17 954 DATE: December 19, 2018 REMANDED Entitlement to a compensable rating for bilateral sensorineural hearing loss prior to November 6, 2017, and in excess of 10 percent thereafter, is remanded. REASONS FOR REMAND The Veteran served on active duty from August 1961 to August 1964. Entitlement to a compensable rating for bilateral sensorineural hearing loss prior to November 6, 2017, and in excess of 10 percent thereafter, is remanded. VA treatment records associated with the claims file subsequent to the previous remand indicate that the Veteran underwent ann audiogram in June 2015. As his disability evaluation is derived from a mechanical application of the Rating Schedule to the numeric designations resulting from audiometric testing, a remand is needed to obtain the actual audiometric results. Lendenmann v. Principi, 3 Vet. App. 345, 349 (1992). The matter is REMANDED for the following action: Associate with the claims folder VA treatment records since June 2015. Additionally, associate with the claims folder the actual audiometric results from the June 8, 2015 hearing evaluation in the VA clinic setting (reporting that the audiogram is available in the Tools menu). The AOJ should ensure that any additional audiometric results from clinic visits after 2015, if any, are associated with the claims folder. T.
