Citation Nr: 18106954 Decision Date: 06/01/18 Archive Date: 05/31/18 DOCKET NO. 15-11 166 DATE: June 1, 2018 ORDER The appeal as to the claim of entitlement to an increased evaluation for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is dismissed. FINDING OF FACT On March 20, 2018, prior to the promulgation of a decision in the appeal, the Board received written, signed notifications from the Veteran and his representative that a withdrawal of the Veteran’s appeal is requested. CONCLUSION OF LAW The criteria for withdrawal of an appeal by the Veteran have been met. 38 U.S.C. § 7105(b)(2), (d)(5) (2012); 38 C.F.R. § 20.204 (2017).   REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDING AND CONCLUSION The Veteran served on active duty including from November 1985 to September 1989 and from February 2003 to January 2006. This appeal comes to the Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board) from a May 2013 rating decision by a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Office (RO). The Board may dismiss any appeal which fails to allege specific error of fact or law in the determination being appealed. 38 U.S.C. § 7105 (2012). An appeal may be withdrawn as to any or all issues involved in the appeal at any time before the Board promulgates a decision. 38 C.F.R. § 20.204 (2017). Withdrawal may be made by the appellant or by his or her authorized representative. 38 C.F.R. § 20.204. On March 20, 2018 VA received written, signed notices from the Veteran and his representative that the Veteran wished to withdraw his request for an appeal to the Board of Veteran’s Appeals. Accordingly, the Board finds that the appeal is withdrawn, and there remain no allegations of errors of fact or law for appellate consideration. Accordingly, the Board does not have jurisdiction to review the appeal and it is dismissed.
