Citation Nr: 20032580 Decision Date: 05/08/20 Archive Date: 05/08/20 DOCKET NO. 14-27 859 DATE: May 8, 2020 ORDER The claim for service connection for actinic keratosis is dismissed. FINDING OF FACT While the Veteran's claim was in appellate status, in February 2020 the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Office (RO) granted entitlement to service connection for actinic keratosis. CONCLUSION OF LAW As the benefit sought on appeal has been granted, there is no justiciable case or controversy for active consideration by the Board as to the issue of entitlement to service connection for actinic keratosis. 38 U.S.C. § 7105(d)(5); 38 C.F.R. § 20.101. REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDING AND CONCLUSION The Veteran served on active duty from February 1965 to October 1968 and from January 1969 to January 1975. This matter comes before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board) on appeal from an August 2013 rating decision issued by the VA RO in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The Board previously remanded this matter in April 2018. Entitlement to service connection for actinic keratosis is dismissed. The Board may dismiss any appeal which fails to allege specific error of fact or law in the determination being appealed. 38 U.S.C. § 7105. After the Board’s April 2018 remand, the RO granted entitlement to service connection for actinic keratosis in a February 2020 rating decision. As the Veteran’s claim has been granted in full, there remains no allegation of error of fact or law for appellant consideration. Accordingly, the Board does not have jurisdiction to review the appeal. Therefore, the claim for entitlement to service connection for actinic keratosis is dismissed. P.M. DILORENZO Veterans Law Judge Board of Veterans’ Appeals Attorney for the Board S. Seserman The Board’s decision in this case is binding only with respect to the instant matter decided. This decision is not precedential and does not establish VA policies or interpretations of general applicability. 38 C.F.R. § 20.1303.
