ORDER

Entitlement to service connection for chronic fatigue syndrome is granted.

FINDING OF FACT

The Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (Court) has held that entitlement to service connection for chronic fatigue syndrome is warranted.

CONCLUSION OF LAW

The criteria for service connection for chronic fatigue syndrome are met.  38 U.S.C. §§ 1110, 5107; 38 C.F.R. §§ 3.102, 3.303, 3.317, 4.88a.

REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDING AND CONCLUSION

The Veteran had active service in the Marine Corps from February to August 1992, January to November 2004, and May 2009 to June 2010.

The appeal originates from a February 2014 decision of a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Office. The Board issued a decision in April 2019 that, in pertinent part, continued to deny service connection for chronic fatigue syndrome. The Veteran appealed that decision to the Court.

In a June 2020 memorandum decision, the Court reversed the Board’s April 2019 decision and remanded the matter for the grant of entitlement to service connection for chronic fatigue syndrome. Accordingly, the Veteran is entitled to service connection for chronic fatigue syndrome.
