Citation Nr: 21065957 Decision Date: 10/28/21 Archive Date: 10/28/21 DOCKET NO. 16-40 657 DATE: October 28, 2021 ORDER The appeal for entitlement to service connection for chronic skin lesions is dismissed. FINDING OF FACT In October 2020, prior to the promulgation of a decision in the appeal, the Board received a letter from the Veteran requesting a withdrawal of her appeal for entitlement to service connection for chronic skin lesions. CONCLUSION OF LAW The criteria for withdrawal of entitlement to service connection for chronic skin lesions by the Veteran have been met. 38 U.S.C. § 7105; 38 C.F.R. § 19.55. REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDING AND CONCLUSION The Veteran had active service from September 1983 to December 1985. The Board may dismiss any appeal which fails to allege specific error of fact or law in the determination being appealed. 38 U.S.C. § 7105. An appeal may be withdrawn as to any or all issues involved in the appeal at any time before the Board promulgates a decision. 38 C.F.R. § 20.204. In the present case, the Veteran, has asked that her appeal for entitlement to service connection for her chronic skin lesions disability be withdrawn. See October 2020 correspondence from the Veteran. In addition, on October 14, 2021 the Veteran came into the public contact office to inquire about the SSOC dated August 18, 2021 for the chronic skin lesions. She indicated that she submitted a written response to close the appeal with the chronic skin lesions. The RO reviewed the file and verified that the request was received. The Veteran stated that she wanted to obtain treatment for her condition which she is currently receiving, but no longer wants to pursue the claim. Therefore, there remain no allegations of errors of fact or law for appellate consideration. Accordingly, the Board does not have jurisdiction to review the appeal for entitlement to service connection for chronic skin lesions, and it is dismissed.
