Citation Nr: A21017498 Decision Date: 10/28/21 Archive Date: 10/28/21 DOCKET NO. 201125-167581 DATE: October 28, 2021 ORDER The appeal concerning entitlement to payment of the cost of non-Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical services provided on April 16, 2020, to April 18, 2020, April 20, 2020, April 23, 2020, April 25, 2020, to April 27, 2020, and April 30, 2020, is dismissed. FINDING OF FACT While this appeal was pending, the Agency of Original Jurisdiction (AOJ) administratively approved the Appellant's claim for payment of the cost of an April 16, 2020, to April 30, 2020, episode of care provided to the Veteran. CONCLUSION OF LAW The issue of entitlement to payment of the cost of non-VA medical services provided on April 16, 2020, to April 18, 2020, April 20, 2020, April 23, 2020, April 25, 2020, to April 27, 2020, and April 30, 2020, has been resolved in full by administrative action; the appeal is moot. 38 U.S.C. § 7105; 38 C.F.R. § 20.903. REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDING AND CONCLUSION The Appellant is a provider that furnished services to the Veteran. See generally 38 U.S.C. § 1703(c),(h); 38 C.F.R. § 17.4030. In November 2020, the Board of Veterans' Appeals (Board) received a VA Form 10182, Decision Review Request: Board Appeal electing the Direct Review docket to review an October 2020 Explanation of Payment (EOP) issued by a VA AOJ. The Appellant's claim for payment of the cost of medical care provided on April 16, 2020, to April 18, 2020, April 20, 2020, April 23, 2020, April 25, 2020, to April 27, 2020, and April 30, 2020, was administratively approved while this appeal was pending. In a June 2021 letter, the AOJ advised the Appellant that the episode of care from April 16, 2020, to April 30, 2020, was approved after secondary administrative review. The letter explained that the claims related to this episode of care would be processed and advised the Appellant that additional claims for the April 16, 2020, to April 30, 2020, episode of care that have not yet been received should be submitted to the AOJ. (Continued on the next page) The administrative approval for the entire April 16, 2020, to April 30, 2020, episode of care constitutes a full grant of the benefits sought in this appeal. No determination remains with which the Appellant disagrees and the appeal is therefore dismissed. 38 U.S.C. § 7105(d); 38 C.F.R. § 20.903(b). DONNIE R.
