REMANDED

A compensable rating for bilateral hearing loss.

REASONS FOR REMAND

The Veteran served on active duty from March 1982 to March 1985 and from March 1986 to August 1993.

At the July 2021 Board hearing, the Veteran asserted that his bilateral hearing loss had worsened since his most recent VA examination in December 2017. As such, a remand to schedule a new examination is in order. 

The matter is REMANDED for the following actions:

1. Identify and obtain any pertinent, outstanding VA and private medical treatment records and associate them with the claims file.

2. Schedule the Veteran for an examination to determine the current severity of his service-connected bilateral hearing loss. 

The claims folder must be made available to the examiner. All pertinent symptomatology and findings must be reported in detail.
