REMANDED

Entitlement to an initial evaluation in excess of 10 percent for the time period from January 30, 2017, for residual scar status post left varicocele ligation is remanded.

REASONS FOR REMAND

The Veteran served on active duty from September 2008 to March 2013.  This matter comes before the Board of Veterans' Appeals (Board) on appeal from rating decisions rendered in October 2015 and September 2018.

The Board remanded this matter for additional development in July 2019. 

Entitlement to an initial evaluation in excess of 10 percent for the time period from January 30, 2017, for residual scar status post left varicocele ligation is remanded.

Additional pertinent evidence developed by VA, including VA examination reports dated in January and October 2021 for the service-connected left varicocele scar disability on appeal as well as VA treatment records dated through September 2021, was added to the record after the issuance of the July 2020 SSOC.  On remand, the evidence is referred to the AOJ for review and readjudication.  38 C.F.R. § 20.1305 (2021).

The matter is REMANDED for the following action:

The claim on appeal must be readjudicated, taking into consideration all relevant evidence associated with the record since the July 2020 SSOC.  If the benefit on appeal remains denied, an SSOC must be provided to the Veteran and his representative.  After the Veteran has had an adequate opportunity to respond, the appeal must be returned to the Board for appellate review.
