Citation Nr: A21018593 Decision Date: 11/22/21 Archive Date: 11/22/21 DOCKET NO. 210115-186852 DATE: November 22, 2021 ORDER Entitlement to payment for medical expenses incurred at Aegis Sciences Corporation on December 1, 2020 is dismissed. FINDING OF FACT While the appeal was pending, in May 2021, VA issued payment of the claimed medical expenses incurred at Aegis Sciences Corporation on December 1, 2020. CONCLUSION OF LAW The issue of entitlement to payment for medical services provided on December 1, 2020 has been resolved in full by administrative action; the appeal is moot. 38 U.S.C. § 7105; 38 C.F.R. § 20.801. REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDING AND CONCLUSION The Veteran served on active duty in the United States Army from November 1943 to May 1946. The appellant provided medical services to the Veteran. In January 2021, the Board of Veterans' Appeals (Board) received a VA Form 10182, Decision Review Request: Board Appeal electing the Direct Review docket to review a January 2021 denial of payment for services provided on December 1, 2020. The appellant's claim for payment for medical services provided on December 1, 2020 was administratively approved while this appeal was pending. The file reflects that the claim was paid in May 2021. In August 2021, the appellant was informed that the claim for services provided on December 1, 2020 had been processed for payment in the amount of $100. The administrative action approving payment for the medical services provided on December 1, 2020 constitutes a complete grant of the benefits sought. As a result, no determination remains with which the appellant disagrees and the appeal is dismissed. 38 U.S.C. § 7105(d); 38 C.F.R. § 20.801(b). M. SORISIO Veterans Law Judge Board of Veterans' Appeals Attorney for the Board K. Marenna, Counsel The Board's decision in this case is binding only with respect to the instant matter decided. This decision is not precedential and does not establish VA policies or interpretations of general applicability. 38 C.F.R. § 20.1303.
