REMANDED

Entitlement to a compensable rating for bilateral hearing loss is remanded.

REASONS FOR REMAND

The Veteran served on active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps from June 1969 to August 1969 and with the U.S. Army from November 6, 1972 to November 24, 1972. 

He testified at Board hearing in December 2021 before the undersigned Veterans Law Judge. 

1. Entitlement to a compensable rating for bilateral hearing loss is remanded.

The last VA hearing examination was conducted in July 2014.  Since then, the Veteran has testified that his hearing has worsened beyond the current assigned rating.  

As such, a new exam is necessary to determine the current severity of his bilateral hearing loss. 

The matters are REMANDED for the following action:

1. Schedule the Veteran for a VA examination to determine the current nature and severity of his bilateral hearing loss.
