REMANDED

Entitlement to service connection for laryngeal cancer is remanded.

Entitlement to service connection for an acquired psychiatric disorder, to include depression, is remanded.

Entitlement to service connection for hypertension is remanded.

REASONS FOR REMAND

The Veteran served on active duty in the United States Army from July 1973 to December 1973.

In August 2021, the Veteran and his wife presented sworn testimony during a virtual hearing before the undersigned.  A transcript of the hearing has been associated with the claims file.

1. Entitlement to service connection for laryngeal cancer is remanded.

2. Entitlement to service connection for an acquired psychiatric disorder, to include depression, is remanded.

3. Entitlement to service connection for hypertension is remanded.

Issues 1-3: At his August 2021 Board hearing, the Veteran indicated that he was in receipt of regular and current treatment at the VA facilities in Beaumont, Texas and Houston, Texas.  Despite his assertions of current treatment, the most recent VA treatment records (VA TRs) in the claims file are dated in 2017.  As the Veteran has identified outstanding VA TRs, VA must attempt to obtain these records.  As such, these claims must be remanded to obtain any updated VA TRs.  38 C.F.R. § 3.159(c)(2).

The matters are REMANDED for the following action:

Obtain any outstanding VA treatment records from the Houston VA Medical Center, including the Beaumont outpatient clinic, and any other facilities identified by the Veteran from February 2017 to the present.  All obtained records must be added to the claims file.
