Citation Nr: A21020165 Decision Date: 12/17/21 Archive Date: 12/17/21 DOCKET NO. 200721-98147 DATE: December 17, 2021 ORDER Entitlement to service connection for carpal tunnel syndrome, claimed as right hand numbness as secondary to posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) with dissociative features, has been withdrawn, and the appeal is dismissed. Entitlement to service connection for an essential tremor, claimed as left hand tremors as secondary to PTSD with dissociative features, has been withdrawn, and the appeal is dismissed. FINDING OF FACT In an October 2021 correspondence from the Veteran's attorney, the Veteran expressed the desire to withdraw the appeals of entitlement to service connection for carpal tunnel syndrome, claimed as right hand numbness as secondary to PTSD with dissociative features, and service connection for an essential tremor, claimed as left hand tremors as secondary to PTSD with dissociative features. CONCLUSIONS OF LAW The criteria for withdrawal of the appeals of entitlement to service connection for carpal tunnel syndrome, claimed as right hand numbness as secondary to PTSD with dissociative features, and service connection for an essential tremor, claimed as left hand tremors as secondary to PTSD with dissociative features by the Veteran have been met. 38 U.S.C. § 7105; 38 C.F.R. § 20.205. REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS The Veteran served on active duty from April 1964 to April 1966. This matter comes before the Board of Veterans' Appeals (Board) on appeal from a rating decision of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Office (RO). The Board may dismiss any appeal which fails to allege specific error of fact or law in the determination being appealed. 38 U.S.C. § 7105. An appeal may be withdrawn as to any or all issues involved in the appeal at any time before the Board promulgates a decision. 38 C.F.R. § 20.205. Withdrawal may be made by the appellant or authorized representative. 38 C.F.R. § 20.205. (Continued on the next page) In an October 2021 correspondence from the Veteran's attorney, the Veteran expressed the desire to withdraw the appeals of entitlement to service connection for carpal tunnel syndrome, claimed as right hand numbness as secondary to PTSD with dissociative features, and service connection for an essential tremor, claimed as left hand tremors as secondary to PTSD with dissociative features As the Veteran has expressed a willing and knowing waiver of his right to continue his appeal, there remain no allegations of errors of fact or law for appellate consideration. Accordingly, the Board does not have jurisdiction to review that appeal and it is dismissed. MICHAEL E.
