ORDER

The appeal seeking a disability rating greater than 70 percent for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is dismissed.

FINDING OF FACT

In October and November 2020, the Veteran filed a statement through his appointed representative indicating that he wished to withdraw the present appeal from adjudicative consideration.

CONCLUSION OF LAW

The criteria for withdrawal of the appeal by the appellant have been met. 38 U.S.C. § 7105; 38 C.F.R. § 19.55.

REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDING AND CONCLUSION

The Veteran served on active duty in the United States Army from June 1989 to July 1997. 

The Board may dismiss any appeal which fails to allege specific error of fact or law in the determination being appealed. An appeal may be withdrawn as to any or all issues involved in the appeal at any time before the Board promulgates a decision. In the present case, the appellant submitted written notice of his request to withdraw this appeal from appellate consideration in October and November 2020 and, hence, there remains no allegation of errors of fact or law to adjudicate. Accordingly, the Board does not have jurisdiction to review the appeal and it is hereby dismissed.
