REASONS FOR REMAND The Veteran served on active duty from June 1970 to March 1974 and November 1974 to December 1977. This matter comes before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board) on appeal from a July 2013 rating decision by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This case was remanded in April 2018 for further development. In July 2017, the Veteran testified at a Board hearing before the undersigned Veterans Law Judge; a transcript of that hearing is of record. The Board notes that it previously remanded the issue of service connection for headaches in November 2020. That issue remains in remand status at the Agency of Original Jurisdiction (AOJ) and will be the subject of a future Board decision, if otherwise in order. Entitlement to TDIU. The Veteran has asserted that his headaches, at least in part, affect his ability to work. See July 2017 Board hearing. As a result, this issue is inextricably intertwined with the issue of service connection for headaches. Because that issue was remanded in November 2020, this matter must be remanded as well. The matter is REMANDED for the following action: The AOJ should return the claim of entitlement to TDIU to the Board for adjudication after one of the following has occurred: (i) the AOJ has returned the issue of service connection for headaches to the Board, or (ii) if service connection for headaches is granted by the AOJ.
