Service connection for a right hip disorder. Service connection for a left hip disorder. Service connection for a right knee disorder. Service connection for a left knee disorder. Service connection for a right ankle disorder. Service connection for a left ankle disorder. Service connection for medial tibial stress syndrome (MTSS)/shin splints of the right lower extremity. Service connection for MTSS/shin splints of the left lower extremity.   REASONS FOR REMAND The Veteran served on active duty from June 1975 to December 1977. This matter is on appeal from November 2009 and July 2014 rating decisions. In July 2016, the Veteran testified at a Board hearing before the undersigned. In July 2017, the matters were remanded for additional development. In an August 2019 decision, the Board granted service connection for headaches and a 10 percent rating for pseudofolliculitis barbae (PFB). The claims of service connection for low back and hip disorders, as well as right and left knee and ankle disorders, were remanded for additional development. In December 2020, the Veteran again testified at a Board hearing before the undersigned. At the hearing, the Veteran clarified that the service connection claim for a hip disorder was for both the right and left hip, and that the claims of service connection for right and left ankle disorders included claims of service connection for right and left shin splints. Thus, the issues are reflected as such on the title page. 1. Service connection for a low back disorder. 2. Service connection for a right hip disorder. 3. Service connection for a left hip disorder. 4. Service connection for a right knee disorder. 5. Service connection for a left knee disorder. 6. Service connection for a right ankle disorder. 7. Service connection for a left ankle disorder. 8. Service connection for MTSS/shin splints of the right lower extremity. 9. Service connection for MTSS/shin splints of the left lower extremity. At the December 2020 Board hearing, the Veteran noted recent treatment, including for arthritis, at the John Cochran VA Medical Center (VAMC) in St. Louis, Missouri. However, those records have not been associated with the claims file. Any VA treatment records are within VA’s constructive possession and are considered potentially relevant to the issues on appeal. Thus, a remand is required to obtain VA treatment records since the issuance of the supplemental statement of the case (SSOC) in June 2020. The matters are REMANDED for the following action: Obtain VA treatment records since June 2020, including from the John Cochran VAMC. RYAN T. KESSEL Veterans Law Judge Board of Veterans’ Appeals Attorney for the Board M. Taylor The Board’s decision in this case is binding only with respect to the instant matter decided. This decision is not precedential and does not establish VA policies or interpretations of general applicability. 38 C.F.R. § 20.1303.
