ORDER

The Veteran's claim of service connection for left ear hearing loss is dismissed. 

FINDING OF FACT

On February 2, 2021, the Board of Veterans' Appeals (Board) received notification from the Veteran that a withdraw of this appeal was requested. 

CONCLUSION OF LAW

The criteria for withdrawal of an appeal by the Veteran have been met.  38 U.S.C. § 7105 (2012); 38 C.F.R. § 19.55 (2020).

REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDING AND CONCLUSION

The Veteran served on active duty in the United States Army from July 1967 to July 1969. 

This case comes before the Board of Veterans' Appeals (Board) on appeal from a March 2018 rating decision issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Office (RO). 

In a February 2021 statement, the Veteran wrote to the Board, stating "at this time, I would like to withdraw my pending appeal for left ear hearing loss. Thank you."  See February 2021 VA 21-4138 Statement in Support of Claim. 

The Board may dismiss any appeal which fails to allege specific error of fact or law in the determination being appealed.  38 U.S.C. § 7105. An appeal may be withdrawn as to any or all issues involved in the appeal at any time before the Board promulgates a decision. Withdrawal may be made by the appellant or by his or her authorized representative.  38 C.F.R. § 19.55.

The Veteran has withdrawn this appeal; and, hence, there remain no allegations of errors of fact or law for appellate consideration. Accordingly, the Board does not have jurisdiction to review the appeal and entitlement to service connection for left ear hearing loss is dismissed.
