FINDING OF FACT In a December 2021 written statement, the Appellant indicated that she was "no longer interested in pursuing this claim" and requested that the claim be "removed from the docket." CONCLUSION OF LAW The criteria for withdrawal of entitlement to service connection for Parkinson's disease have been met. 38 U.S.C. § 7105; 38 C.F.R. § 19.55. REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDING AND CONCLUSION The Veteran had active service from May 1948 to April 1968. He died in March 2015. In April 2020, the Veteran's surviving spouse was substituted as the appellant in this appeal. WITDRAWAL In a December 2021 written statement, the Appellant indicated that she was "no longer interested in pursuing this claim" and requested that the claim be "removed from the docket." An appellant may withdraw a substantive appeal in writing at any time prior to the Board of Veterans' Appeals (Board) promulgation of a decision. 38 C.F.R. § 19.55. The Board finds that the Appellant has effectively withdrawn the appeal for service connection for Parkinson's disease. Therefore, the Board concludes that no allegation of fact or law remains as to that issue, and the appeal must be dismissed. 38 U.S.C. § 7105. J. T.
