REASONS AND BASES FOR FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS The Veteran served on active duty from October 1999 to June 2011. This matter comes before the Board of Veterans' Appeals (Board) on appeal from a November 2019 rating decision from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Office (RO). The Board notes in his December 2019 VA Form 10182, Decision Review Request: Board Appeal, the Veteran elected the Hearing Lane docket. However, the Veteran withdrew his claims before a Board hearing could be held. The appeal of the proposed decrease in rating for Hashimoto's thyroiditis with nodular goiter. The appeal of the proposed decrease in rating for residuals of left shoulder separation (non-dominant). The appeal of the proposed decrease in rating for chronic cervical sprain. The appeal of the proposed decrease in rating for gastroesophageal reflux disease. The appeal of the proposed decrease in rating for residuals of right shoulder separation (dominant). The appeal of the propriety of the decision to discontinue SMC for aid and attendance/statutory housebound benefits. The Board may dismiss any appeal which fails to allege specific error of fact or law in the determination being appealed. See 38 U.S.C. § 7105. An appeal may be withdrawn as to any or all issues involved in the appeal at any time before the Board promulgates a decision. See 38 C.F.R. § 20.205. Withdrawal may be made by the appellant or by his or her authorized representative. See 38 C.F.R. § 20.205. In January 2024, the Board received correspondence that the Veteran wished to withdraw his appeal regarding the claims of the proposed decrease in rating for Hashimoto's thyroiditis with nodular goiter, proposed decrease in rating for residuals of left shoulder separation (non-dominant), proposed decrease in rating for chronic cervical sprain, proposed decrease in rating for gastroesophageal reflux disease, proposed decrease in rating for residual of right shoulder separation (dominant), and propriety of the decision to discontinue SMC for aid and attendance/statutory housebound benefits. (Continued on the next page) ? The Board finds that the Veteran effectively withdrew the appeal for claims of the proposed decrease in rating for Hashimoto's thyroiditis with nodular goiter, proposed decrease in rating for residuals of left shoulder separation (non-dominant), proposed decrease in rating for chronic cervical sprain, proposed decrease in rating for gastroesophageal reflux disease, proposed decrease in rating for residual of right shoulder separation (dominant), and propriety of the decision to discontinue SMC for aid and attendance/statutory housebound benefits. Therefore, there remain no allegations of errors of fact or law for appellate consideration. Accordingly, the Board does not have jurisdiction to review these issues, and they are dismissed. D.
