VA2K is the start to getting you moving the entire month of May! The VA2K encourages healthy activity while supporting homeless Veterans through voluntary donations. Suggested items:
- TV trays
- Sleeping bags
- Pots/pans kits in a box.
- T-shirts, underwear
- Men's sweatpants size S-XXL
- Spiral notebooks, Pens.
- Personal first aid and hygiene kits
- Accordion file folders- to organize paperwork
- Cleaning supplies (such as dish soap, cleaning agents like Ajax) often many Veterans move into new homes with very little money for cleaning supplies.
- Rolling carts that fold up (to make them more storable), Veterans can pick up food at food banks, or even go grocery shopping and bring food home without having to physically carry bags.
