Flu shots for West Texas Veterans

Big Spring , TX — West Texas VA Health Care System is hosting multiple flu shot clinics for Veterans across the region through October.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs both recommend everyone age six months and older get a flu shot each year in the fall, as soon as flu shots are available, because the vaccine gets updated annually.
Veterans can get their flu shots in the lobby at these West Texas VA clinic locations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on these dates:
- Sept. 13 – Big Spring
- Oct. 3 – Abilene
- Oct. 10 – San Angelo
- Oct. 11 – Odessa
- Oct. 18 – Hobbs, New Mexico
- Oct. 25 – Ft. Stockton
