Lisa A. Bedford began her VA career in 2010 as a Clinical Dietitian at the Batavia, New York VA Medical Center.
Over the years, she has held several key roles at VAWNYHS, including Chief Designated Learning Officer, where she oversaw education and training for all employees and trainees, and Systems Redesign Coordinator, where she managed the organization's process improvement program. Since 2017, Lisa has served as the Group Practice Manager, overseeing ambulatory care operations.
A U.S. Air Force Veteran, Lisa held multiple leadership roles during her military service and was recognized for excellence in operations and team performance. She holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Central Missouri State University. Lisa is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
