COVID-19 vaccines

The Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center and our five Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) are offering COVID-19 vaccines. Availability of vaccines will be limited at our CBOCs. Please call for scheduled vaccine dates.

We are offering COVID-19 vaccines to these groups:

  •  All Veterans
  • Spouses and surviving spouses of Veterans
  • Caregivers of Veterans (including family members or friends who provide care to a Veteran)
  • Recipients of Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMPVA) benefits

We are currently offering the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines and boosters:

Moderna initial vaccine series (shots 1-3): Available on Thursdays only, 8 a.m. - Noon, in Bldg. 29. Appointments can be made by calling 316-469-0914. Walk-ins are not accepted. When scheduling your appointment, please indicate which shot you are receiving (1-3).

Moderna boosters: Available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m, in Bldg. 60. Please schedule an appointment by calling 316-469-0914. Walk-ins are not accepted.

Johnson & Johnson vaccine and booster are available Mon-Fri, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m, in Bldg. 29. Walk-ins are accepted.

Please remember to bring your Vaccine Card to all of these encounters.
