DE Vet Help

Welcome to the Vet Help Website. Most veterans are strengthened by their military service, which can enhance their lives, families and communities. However, combat and other traumatic experiences, such as Military Sexual Trauma, may leave a growing number of veterans with facing issues such as PTSD, traumatic brain injury, family instability, and readjustment issues. If left untreated, mental health disorders common among veterans can directly lead to involvement with law enforcement and the criminal justice system. We thank you for taking the initiative to help support Veterans experiencing hardships. Together we can provide easier access to life-saving resources. The below PDF is designed to provide resources and help to navigate vital and veteran-centered VA and community resources frequently used in Delaware and Southern NJ to meet the needs of Veterans encountered by law enforcement.
