| Summary: | The purpose of the review was to evaluate selected operations, focusing on patient care administration and quality management (QM). During the review, OIG provided crime awareness briefings to 87 employees. This review focused on 10 operational activities. The facility complied with selected standards in the following two activities (1) polytrauma and (2) Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Centers. The facility’s reported accomplishments included opening the Center of Innovation for Patient-Centered Care. OIG made recommendations for improvement in the following eight activities: (1) QM, (2) environment of care, (3) colorectal cancer screening, (4) coordination of care, (5) moderate sedation, (6) medication management, (7) follow-up on emergency eyewash stations, and (8) follow-up on coordination of care discharge documentation. |
