Dr. Ashley Willis was born and raised in Oklahoma, graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Zoology and Psychology (Boomer Sooner!).
Dr. Ashley Willis obtained her medical degree in Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University. Next her training brought her to Atlanta, GA for residency at the JMCAVAMC where she was hired as a full-time podiatrist once residency was completed. Currently she is the podiatrist at the Pike County clinic.
Dr. Willis is board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and board qualified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle surgery. She is a fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine and acts as a residency program evaluator for the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. She enjoys providing care for our nation’s Veterans as well as working with residents and students in a teaching hospital environment. In her free time, she stays busy with her husband, son, and 3 dogs. She loves reading books of any kind, throwing/attending college football watch parties, and listening to true crime podcasts on the long drives to work.
