Bay Pines VA Medical Media Team Earns Global Recognition

Bay Pines , FL — Bay Pines VA Healthcare System can lay claim to having some of the best video production in the world, for another year, following the release of winners from the 45th Annual Telly Awards, May 21.
Thomas Cole and Mark DePass, both Air Force Veterans, were recognized in four of six categories, during the 2024 competition. This brings the organization’s Telly Award total to 13.
“Mr. Cole, and Mr. DePass continue to raise the bar high in terms of quality and value to our mission, and I – along with our healthcare system – are proud to see their efforts recognized at the highest levels,” said Bay Pines VA Director and CEO Paul M. Russo. “I congratulate them on a job well done and look forward to following their continued success in shaping the many ways we work to provide the soonest and best health care to Veterans, families, caregivers, and survivors.”

Cole and DePass average 48 video products annually; however, the team, which also includes graphic designer Christina Anstaett account for more than 1,000 products – which include the videos, in addition to photography and graphics.
