Bay Pines VA to Host COVID and Flu Vaccination Event

The healthcare system’s two largest locations, C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center, in Bay Pines, and Lee County Healthcare Center, in Cape Coral, host the joint event. Enrolled Veterans may receive their vaccinations at the C.W.Y VA Medical Center in the J.C. Cobb (bldg. 100, room 1D-127), and those electing to receive their shots at the Lee County Healthcare Center can receive their vaccinations on the first floor, in the conference room. 

“Although there is not a requirement to receive both vaccinations, it remains critical that we provide all Veterans with options to make the best decisions for their health care needs,” said Bay Pines VA Associate Director for Patient Care Services Carrie Hawkins. “We feel that offering both vaccines in one convenient location achieves that goal.”

Beginning Monday, Oct. 23, enrolled Veterans who are unable to attend this weekend, may visit any of our VA Clinics on a walk-in basis to receive their vaccine.
