VA Bedford Healthcare System Director, Dr. Joan Clifford, delivered opening remarks at the Billerica Wreaths Across America ceremony.

We want to thank the town of Billerica for hosting this incredibly meaningful event to honor our nation's Veterans and fallen heroes. Seeing this community come together to solemnly REMEMBER those we have lost, HONOR all who have served, and TEACH future generations about the value of freedom was truly moving.

The ceremonial wreath laying gave us a special opportunity to pay tribute at each patriot's gravesite, saying every Veteran's name aloud as a further act of respect and gratitude. We applaud all who supported this tradition in commitment to our sacred duty of remembrance.

Events like this highlight the sacrifices that have been made to defend liberty’s blessings that we all cherish but too often take for granted. By sponsoring wreaths, volunteering, and attending, you directly help fulfill the mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach. From all of us at VA Bedford, thank you Billerica!
