Flu Fairs

Walk in and get your flu shot at one of our upcoming Flu Fairs!

Flyer with dates

The Birmingham VA Health Care System, including the VA Outpatient Clinics offers flu shots to enrolled Veterans during scheduled clinic appointments and in special walk-in flu shot clinics.  There is no charge for the flu shot and Veterans are reminded to bring their VA identification card.

See flyer with listing of all flu shot clinics in the Birmingham VA Health Care System, or contact your provider to schedule your next appointment.

Now it’s time to protect and defend yourself and your loved ones against flu. Did you know anyone can get flu? Studies show that getting a flu shot can reduce illness and death from flu. Get a flu shot and practice healthy habits like getting enough sleep and exercise, eating a balanced diet, and drinking plenty of fluids to stay healthy.

VA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend that everyone age six months and older get a flu shot each year. The flu shot is safe and effective, and you cannot get flu from the flu shot.

All dates exclude Federal Holidays
