Dr. Morris serves as a Prosthodontist at the Birmingham VA Medical Center.
He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry at Birmingham (1984). He completed a 1 Year General Practice Residency (1985) and a Prosthodontic Residency (1994) in the United States Army. He is board certified by The American Board of Prosthodontics and is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontist as well as a member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. Dr. Morris previously served as the Program Director for the US Army Prosthodontic Residency Program as well as being an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He has received numerous awards to include the Pierre Fauchard Award for Excellence in Dental Education and being a member of the Order of Military Medical Merit. He was awarded the “A” designator by the Surgeon General of the United States for excellence in prosthodontics. Colonel Morris, upon retiring from the US Army, received a Legion of Merit for 22 years of military service. Dr Morris’ passion and privilege is being able to provide “state of the art” dental care to his fellow veterans.
