  • Congratulations to the UAB Physician residents and BVAHCS Dental Residents for completing their residencies to become practicing physicians and dentists.  On May 18, 146 residents across multiple specialties were celebrated at the Birmingham VA.

King, M.D., chief of the neurology section of the Birmingham VA Health Care System (BVAHCS) was awarded the Wolcott Award for Excellence in Clinical Care Delivery by VA Deputy Under Secretary for Health, Dr. Steven Lieberman. King is also professor in the Department of Neurology, Heersink School of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
