Nancy Connors assumed the duties as Acting Director of Quality Management in November 2023.
Prior to this, Ms. Connors has served as Associate Chief Nurse for Community Living Center and Spinal Cord Injury since 2016. She started her career at VA Boston in 1979 as a staff nurse. She received her undergraduate degrees from Northeastern University and the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and her MSN from Norwich University. She has held leadership roles within Nursing Service and Quality Management, including Deputy Director of Quality Management from 2011-2015 and the Acting Director of Quality Management prior to taking a position as Associate Chief Nurse for Community Living Center and Spinal Cord Injury.
Ms. Connors was elected to Sigma Theta Tau Honorary Scholarship Society and is also a member on several other professional organizations. She has held certifications relative to her nursing practice in critical care nursing and rehabilitation. Ms. Connors is also a VHA certified mentor, received Yellow Belt and Green Belt LEAN Certifications from Purdue University and is a graduate of VHA Improvement Advisor Academy. She is committed to excellence in healthcare delivery.
