Wednesday, May 15 was the last day of operations at the VA clinic in Tulare. Starting Monday (May 20th), Veterans will be able to get their care at the brand new VA clinic in Visalia.

Dr. Morrow, a distinguished healthcare leader, was appointed Chief of Staff at VA Central California Health Care System in November 2023.

Board-certified since 2001, his dedication to excellence is evident across various roles, from General Surgeon to Acting Chief of Staff. Dr. Morrow previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff at the VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership overseeing diverse departments while also caring for Veterans in the wound care clinic. Dr. Morrow's extensive career also includes his service as Chief of Surgery at the VA Health Care Center in Eugene, Oregon, where his proficiency also spanned both administrative and clinical spheres.

A multifaceted professional, Dr. Morrow seamlessly combines medical expertise with effective medical staff leadership and Veteran engagement. Outside the medical arena, Dr. Morrow actively contributes to the community, coaching youth sports and participating in a community band.

Dr. Morrow holds an MBA from Oregon Health Science University/Portland State University, an MD with honors from the University of Cincinnati, and a degree in Biology from Williams College. His General Surgery Residency was completed at the University of Colorado. Dr. Morrow is proficient in basic medical Spanish and basic medical French, bringing a holistic skill set to his role.
