The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is committed to supporting Veterans who experienced sexual trauma year-round. Each April during Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), VA amplifies our efforts to reach out to sexual trauma survivors of all backgrounds and genders.

We also share information about compassionate care and resources for healing at the Veterans Health Administration.
