The Cincinnati Million Veteran Program enrolled it’s 10,000 participant on May 10, 2023!

Older adult Veterans and Veterans with disabilities are finding a new place to call home with the implementation of the Cincinnati VA Medical Center Medical Foster Home Program in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Health care providers in the Cincinnati VA Medical Center’s (VAMC) Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)/Polytrauma clinic are working to increase awareness about TBIs in Veterans.

VA’s 13th annual VA2K Walk & Roll event is back with goals of moving the body in support of your whole health and well-being, while also helping Veterans experiencing homelessness. The event, including a Whole Health fair and blood drive, is scheduled for May 18 at the Cincinnati VAMC at 10 a.m.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is committed to supporting Veterans who experienced sexual trauma year-round. Each April during Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), VA amplifies our efforts to reach out to sexual trauma survivors of all backgrounds and genders.

Veterans, Families, and Visitors. Starting the week of April 24, 2023 the Cincinnati VA Medical Center main entrance will begin a large remodeling effort to provide you a new and improved entry into the Medical Center.

As we approach the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, we encourage all to join us in extending the most heartfelt thank you to the Veterans who served during the period of Nov. 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, and the gold star families who lost loved ones as a result of the war.

Congratulations to Dr. Chard for her work with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine related to Posttraumatic Stress Disoder (PTSD) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
