Van services for Veterans

DAV vans

Hours: Individual van schedules vary

We work with Disabled American Veterans and county Veterans Affairs directors to provide transportation for Veterans and authorized caregivers to get to scheduled medical appointments.

Beneficiary travel

Beneficiary travel benefits include round-trip transportation from your home to the medical center, mileage reimbursement, or special mode transport.

Screening  

Veterans will be screened at the main entrance.  Color coded wristbands will be issued to everyone who is permitted to enter the campus.  The issuance of wristbands will limit the amount of times we ask the screening questions. 

Masking

Beginning on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, the only approved masks will be medical-grade, N95 or KN95 masks.  Cloth masks, Gators, scarves, Neckerchiefs, and all cloth masks without N95 or equivalent filtration will be prohibited.  If a mask is found to be non-compliant, a compliant mask will be provided.

Visitation

Outpatient visitors will be limited to one adult essential companion if the patient must have someone to understand the treatment plan or assist with the patient’s care.
