Ketan Patel M.D.

Dr. Patel also provides administrative supervision of the Whole Health program at the Coatesville VAMC and chairs the credentialing and privileging committee, working closely with community partners including the state-run Southeastern Veterans Center in Spring City, PA.  Additionally, he serves on several Medical Center and VISN Committees (Geriatrics and Extended Care Rehabilitation and Extended Care Integrated Clinical Communities, SAIL Compare Quality Improvement Committee, and member of the electronic health records and medical records committee), to include serving on the National G&EC Leads, and Community Living Center (CLC) Medical Directors Committee.

Dr. Ketan Patel began his VA career as a staff physician at the Coatesville VAMC in 2011. In 2012 he became the CLC Medical Director and concurrently served as the attending physician on the Dementia care unit. In 2014, Dr. Patel was selected as the Associate Chief of Staff for G&EC, overseeing the CLC, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), dental, home-based primary care (HBPC), and compensation and pension (C&P).
