Beneficiary Travel payments go electronic effective Oct. 1, 2023

The U.S. Treasury requires that all payments be made electronically to veterans, caregivers, and other stakeholders.

Effective October 1, 2023, all Beneficiary Travel payments must be paid electronically.

You may have these payments deposited to a bank account, credit union account, or to a Direct Express Debit MasterCard. Please go to https://godirect.gov/gpw/ or call 1- to set up direct deposit.

This requirement was established by the U.S. Treasury for all government entities. VA Connecticut is unable to make any exceptions at the local level.
